Why the Resurrection is Believable

Why the Resurrection is Believable

Podcast #55

With the week of Easter of upon us, I just didn’t think I would have time to get a new episode together, but these thoughts continued to circulate through my mind and heart. Sharing them here was a must. Without the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Christianity is reduced to just another religion. Jesus becomes a good teacher or at best, a prophet. The resurrection changed everything. What makes the resurrection of Jesus believable? And how can knowing this make an impact in your daily life? That’s what we are talking about in today’s episode of the She Yearns Podcast, Why the Resurrection is Believable.

You can now check out the Why the Resurrection is Believable from iTunes, GooglePlay, Stitcher, or SoundCloud. Just click on the links below! As always, you can scroll down and listen right here!

Five Kitchen Hacks for Busy Moms

Five Kitchen Hacks for Busy Moms

Podcast #53

Hey! Welcome to the She Yearns Podcast and today’s episode, Five Kitchen Hacks for Busy Moms

Today’s focus on the She Yearns Podcast is on the kitchen. Let’s face it. Some of us have a love-hate relationship with that room of the house. But it IS a fixture of life, as well as part of how we take care of ourselves and others. The Bible also speaks to it as part of the role of the Proverbs 31 woman. We might as well find some better solutions and creative ideas for making the most of our time and energy. This mom of eight is here to offer five tricks of the trade in this episode and hopes you find it helpful and even inspirational.

Here is how it will break down as you listen.

Hack #1 Meal Prep

We will talk about three different elements I have found to be beneficial to streamline the meal process and reduce the evening stress.

Hack #2 Color Coding

If you have multiple children, grandchildren or any sort of people who cannot keep up with their kitchenware, this is the strategy for you!

Hack #3 Breakfast Independence

This will begin as a narrow topic and broaden to encourage the listener to find ways to transfer responsibility onto others who might need to learn some independence within the home.

Hack #4 Organizing To-Go Meals

Most people take a meal and leave the home, eventually. Mom doesn’t need to do work herself to death making this happen well. There are some ways around the exhaustion.

Hack #5 Clean-Up System

If you have any other ideas or suggestions you think would benefit the She Yearns Community, please post them below or go to our social media outlets. We are always learning and trying to grow.

For Such a Time as This

For Such a Time as This

Podcast #48

Hey! Welcome to the She Yearns Podcast and today’s episode, For Such a Time as this

Living in a house with a bunch of kids in the public school system means they bring home all kinds of germs and share them. I can generally keep it to a minimum but this season I seem to have lost control. I’ve been sick for the second time now for more than a week and my spouse bit the dust completely. What that means for you is that I had to work a little differently this week. For Such a Time is This is a different kind of episode, but I pray you will find it as encouraging as I did producing it.

Sometimes you and I need to be reminded that God has a purpose for our lives. A purpose that requires us to act upon. It’s not that we need to dig deeper within to make something of ourselves. There is truly a higher calling to be a part of His Plan and His purposes. This episode is meant to inspire and encourage.

The complete text of the reference utilized can be found HERE.

Feel free to snag these screen savers for your phone with highlights I developed as reminders from the message. You can find them at the bottom of the page. Don’t forget, they will also be available on my Instagram account, @CheriStrange under the icon “Inspiration” if you want to download them there.

Many blessings as you hear from your God and receive what He has just for you!
